James "Chris" Schippani, age 61 of Hamden, passed away suddenly December 20, 2017.  James was born in New Haven, December 25, 2017, son of the late James and Philomena Amendola Schippani.  During his life, he worked as a machinist for Sikosrky Aircraft of Stratford for many years until his retirement.  He is survived by several cousins.  All services and interment will be private at the convenience of the family.  The James T. Toohey & Son Funeral Home, 92 Howe Ave., Shelton has been entrusted with arrangements.
