Vanessa R. Mazerolle, age 60 of Southbury, beloved wife of the late David B. Mazerolle, Sr., passed away September 19, 2017.  Vanessa was born in Waterville, ME, June 26, 1957, daughter of the late Jeremiah Cronin and Violet O. Rancourt and was employed as a Tax Collector for the Town of Southbury for many years.  She is survived by her sons, Charles Winthal, Jr. (Trish), and David Rancourt (Diane); her stepgrandson, Jayden Mazerolle; her sister Susan Laird (James); her mother-in-law, Jeanette Mazerolle, her stepson; David B. Mazerolle, Jr.; her brother-in-law, Michael Mazerolle (Nancy); her sisters-in-law, Lyne Mazerolle, Kathy Correia (Joseph), Sharon Guidi (Jack), and Lisa Ross (Larry); several nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, and her beloved cats.  Besides her husband and parents, she was predeceased by her brother, Michael Rancourt and her stepson, Keith Mazerolle.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday September 30th at 10 AM at St. Joseph Church, Shelton.  Interment will be private.  Calling hours will be held Friday September 29th from 4 to 8 PM at the James T.
