Charles A. Stacy

Charles A. Stacy, age 62 of Derby, passed away November 24, 2018 at Bridgeport Hospital.  Charlie was born in Bridgeport, January 20, 1956, son of Helen J. Tuzin Stacy and the late Charles H. Stacy.  He was a graduate of Harding High School.  He worked at CSS Industries and as a driver at Unifirst before going to Norwalk College to become a respiratory therapist and working at Milford Hospital.   He will be remembered as an avid bowler who once bowled a perfect game, skier, softball player, disco dancer, and comedian.  He is survived by his children JT Stacy and Shannon Lee Bojnec, his grandchildren Martin, Jacob, and Julianna Bojnec, and Brandon, Ryan, Jayden, and Tyler Stacy , his brother Eugene Stacy (Maureen), his sisters Kathy Coyle, Joanne Bero, and Ellen Stacy, and several nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.  Calling hours will be held Monday (TODAY) from 5PM to 8PM at the James T. Toohey & Son Funeral Home, 92 Howe Ave., Shelton.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday at 10AM DIRECTLY at St. Margaret Mary Church, 50 Donovan Lane, Shelton.  Interment will be private.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Shelton Animal Shelter, 11 Brewster Lane, Shelton, CT 06484.
