Florence Joan Loescher, age 79 of Oxford, beloved wife of William A. Loescher, passed away June 12, 2013 at Griffin Hospital, Derby. Florence was born in Derby on February 9, 1934, daughter of the late Benjamin and Helen Zybort Cichanowicz. Besides her husband, she is survived by sons Peter (Wendy) Loescher of Shelton and Jerry (Christine) Loescher of Oxford; grandchildren Noah and Chloe Loescher of Oxford; and a sister Stella Horbal of Southbury. She was predeceased by sisters Mamie Prezkop, Agnes Hanna, and Anna Cichanowicz. Calling hours will be held Sunday from 5 P.M. to 8 P.M. in the JAMES T. TOOHEY & SON FUNERAL HOME, 92 HOWE AVE., SHELTON. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday at 10 A.M. in Assumption Church, 61 N. Cliff St. Ansonia. Burial will follow in Mt.
