Mildred G. Magariello, R.N., age 92 of Shelton, wife of the late Edward Magariello, passed away June 15, 2015 at Crosby Commons, Shelton. Mildred was born in Brooklyn, NY, July 8, 1922, daughter of the late Archibald and Florence Muller Grant. She was a graduate of the Kings County School of Nursing, Brooklyn, NY and worked as a private duty Registered Nurse at Bellevue Hospital, New York, NY for many years until her retirement. She is survived by her brother, Douglas Grant of Florida; her nephew, Anthony Magarello and his wife Helen of North Carolina; and her nieces, Linda Gluck of Florida, and Rita Basilico of North Carolina. She was predeceased by her first husband, John Valle, and her daughters, Jeanne and Carolyn Valle, both of whom were killed in an automobile accident. Private burial will be held at the convenience of the family in the family vault in Calvary Cemetery, Woodside, NY. There are no calling hours. The James T.
