Whatever memories we have of Wasil are of kindness and good humor. In 1970 we were getting our first home ready as we were getting married. Wasil showed up unannounced with treats in hand. He grabbed a paint roller and didn't leave until late at night,helping us until the job was done. He sang at our wedding too. He was truly a great guy.Marianne and Don Bell

I had Mr. Katz as a 7th grade teacher '67-'68 at Sunnyside School. He was one of the better teachers for sure. During that school year he was performing in a play in another town. Our girl scout troop went to the performance and then met with him when the show was over. He was so happy and surprised to see so many of his students there. I'm sure many people have similar memories of a wonderful person.
