Donna M. McDougall, age 56 of Bridgeport, passed away March 10, 2024. She was born in Bridgeport, April 25, 1967, daughter of the late Jesse Austin and Beverly McDougall. She worked as a nurse for over 30 years last at the Carolton, CCH, and St. Vincent’s Medical Center. She was very intellectual and a wonderful sense of humor. She loved to travel, cook, knit, and spend time with her loved ones who she had a strong commitment to. She had the biggest heart and strove to help people no matter their situation or hers. As a light, she was a role model to all who knew her and for having tenacity. She was also known for being a God-fearing woman which she was very proud of. She is survived by her three children Eric McDougall and his wife Natasha of Colorado Springs, CO, Kayla Luong of Bridgeport, and Karah Ann-Myers-Ortiz and her husband Gary of Bridgeport, 8 grandchildren Charles, Erica, Aaliyah, and Amelia McDougall, Justin Myers, Jacob and Jonah Ortiz, and Layla Luong, sister Carmen Szabo and her husband Charles of Stratford, and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her brother Antonio Rosa, III. Calling hours will be held Thursday from 2pm to 4pm at the James T. Toohey & Son Funeral Home, 92 Howe Ave., Shelton. Interment will be private.
