Frederick Green

Frederick Green, age 78 of Ansonia, beloved husband of Barbara Clarke Green, passed away March 2, 2019 at home.  Frederick was born in Preston Lancashrie, England, April 1, 1940, son of the late Alfred and Bridget Sullivan Green.  He was a graduate of Preston Grammar School and became an apprenticed toolmaker.  He came to the U.S.A. in 1969 and worked as a Quality Assurance Inspector for Perkin Elmer and later for A.S.M.L. of Wilton, CT for many years until his retirement.  Besides his beloved wife Barbara, he is survived by his children Anthony Stephen Green of Naugatuck, and Julia Ann O’Donnell of Vermont; his grandchildren Beau Jason Green of Prospect, and Anita Lynn Conley (Steven) of Windsor Locks, CT, Katie O’Donnell of Vermont; his great grandchildren Hailee Isabella Green, Preston Elaina O’Donnell, and Leland Herbert Brooks, his brothers Kevin Green (Rae) of Scotland and Vincent Green, his sisters-in-law Dorothy Green, and numerous nieces and nephews.  He was predeceased by his brothers, Phillip and Frances Allan Green and sister-in-law, Josephine Green (wife of Frances Allan Green).  Interment will be held at a later date.  The James T. Toohey & Son Funeral Home, 92 Howe Ave., Shelton has been entrusted with arrangements.
