Glen Michael Haluschak 63, passed away at his home on November 10th, 2021 after a long and courageous battle with cancer. Glen was born on March 7th, 1958 in Derby, CT to Eleanor (Finer) and Russell F. Haluschak.
Glen graduated Shelton High School in 1976, where he was voted best looking in his senior class. He went on to work in the construction business, driving dump trucks and working as a heavy machine operator for various companies in the area. He was the owner of Haluschak Hauling where he drove and worked on his own 1964 B Model Mack tri-axle dump truck. Besides owning his business, his greatest accomplishment and pride and joy were his two loving daughters, Mikhalia and AmityRaye. Glen had a love of cars and motorcycles. He built his custom 1969 SS Camaro which was featured in the center of Super Chevy magazine in October 1991 after taking best of show that year. He also loved Harley Davidson motorcycles and in true Glen fashion just acquired another one and most recently went riding with his brother Russ and friends. He rode it until the tank was empty. Glen had a zest for life and always lived it full throttle.
Besides his daughters, Glen is survived by his mother, Eleanor of Shelton, brothers Russell (Debbie) of Shelton, David (Rosanne) of Scottsdale AZ, and his sister Kim Ellen (Mike DiMauro) of Rocky Hill, and his former wife, confidant, and cherished friend Rachel Clancy.
Glen was predeceased by his father and best friend Russell F Haluschak.
