Lily F. Ryan

Lily F. Ryan, age 87 of Milford, passed away January 30, 2023, just one day shy of her 88th birthday.  Lily was born in New York, NY, January 31, 1935, daughter of the late Enrico and Phoebe Steele Visconti.  Lily worked for A.B.B.I. in the electronics department for many years until her retirement.  Lily is survived by her grandchildren Robert H. Ryan, III (Megan), and Kelly D. Cuminotto (Matthew), her great-grandchildren Brynn, Avery, Alexander, and William, her brother Edward Visconti (Diane), her sister Bessie Hanson (James), her former daughter-in-law Doreen Cecero, and many nieces and nephews.  Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband Robert H. Ryan, Sr., her son Robert H. Ryan, Jr., her brothers Ralph and Joseph Visconti, and her sisters Philomena Stiewing, Clara Havrda, Margaret Reilly, Mable Swingle, Florence Hughes, and Phoebe Sanders.  Calling hours will be held Sunday from 2PM to 5PM at the James T. Toohey & Son Funeral Home, 92 Howe Ave., Shelton.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday at 10AM at St. Gabriel Church (St. Raphael Parish), 26 Broadway, Milford.  Interment will follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery, 315 Buckingham Ave., Milford.  Memorial contributions may be made to Connecticut Hospice, 100 Double Beach Rd., Branford, CT 06405.
