Marcia Y. Harrison

Marcia Y. Harrision, age 56 of Bridgeport, passed away October 26, 2024 at Danbury Hospital.  She was born in St. Catherine, Jamaica, December 15, 1967, daughter of Evis Thomas and the late Uthan Harrison.  She was the proud owner of Best Choice Homecare Agency and working as a home health caretaker for the Kennedy Center.  Besides her mother, she is survived by her children Satchmo Gordon and Wayne Bloomfield, Jr., her siblings Elvis Kenley, Donald Kenley, Jacqueline Harrison, Owen Harrison, Joanne Sterling, Ricardo Sterling, Stacyann Sterling Johnson her husband Ortis Johnson, and Sasha Drummond, her companion Wayne Bloomfield, Sr., her stepdaughter Shellyann Bloomfield Johnson and spouse Romaine Johnson, who are the parents of her grandson Romaine Johnson, Jr., and many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, and uncles.  Calling hours will be held Saturday from 10AM to 2PM at the James T. Toohey & Son Funeral Home, 92 Howe Ave., Shelton.  Funeral services will be held Saturday at 1PM at the funeral home.  Interment will be private.
