Nicole (Walkinshaw) Mather

Nicole (Walkinshaw) Mather, age 52, passed away on July 28, 2025, after a courageous battle with multiple health challenges, despite these struggles, she remained a beacon of light and positivity, often greeting the world with a radiant smile that warmed every room she entered.

Nicole is survived by her loving husband, Brian; her son, Austin (Jackie). She is also survived by her mother, Kathy; stepfather, Joe; brother, Ryan (Kelly); her-in-laws Patricia and Tracy; brother-in-law, Jay (Amber); nieces, Jillian and Reese, nephew, Andrew and additional family who cherished her deeply.  Nicole was predeceased by her father Dave.

Nicole’s strength and spirit inspired all who knew her. She will be profoundly missed, but her memory will live on in the hearts of those she touched.
 

Friends may visit the family on Saturday, August 9th, from 11 AM to 2 PM in the James T Toohey & Son Funeral Home 92 Howe Avenue, Shelton.

Burial will be private.
