Phillip R. Bergen, age 49 of Naugatuck, passed away September 9, 2014. Phillip was born in Bridgeport, May 18, 1965, beloved son of Claudine Friour Bergen and the late Raymond Bergen. Phillip had a great passion for skiing. He is survived by his children, Amanda and Alexander Bergen; his brother, Eric Bergen of Derby; his uncle Albert Bergen and aunt Eleanor Bergen of San Antonio, Texas, and several aunts, uncles, and cousins in France. Friends may greet the family at a memorial gathering that will take place on Tuesday, Ocotber 28, 2014 from 5-7 PM at the James T. Toohey & Son Funeral Home, 92 Howe Ave., Shelton followed by a memorial service at 6:00 PM with Msgr. Christopher Walsh officiating. Interment will be private.
