Obituary

Richard L. Cunliffe, age 61 of Shelton, beloved husband of the late Annette Lucille Sanchione Cunliffe, entered into eternal rest March 10, 2022 at Connecticut Hospice, Branford.  He was born in Bridgeport, December 16, 1960, son of the late Walter and Ruth Johnston Cunliffe.  He is survived by his sister Patricia Terry (Alan), his brothers David Cunliffe (Mary), and Herbert Cunliffe (Patricia), his stepsons Albert R. Carey, Jr. (Jamie) and their children Albert III and Liam, Christopher J. LaQuay (Anisa) and their children Leona and Lilianna LaQuay, and Kevin J. LaQuay, his father and mother-in-law Frank and Dolores Sanchione, his best friend Robert McKinney, and several nieces and nephews.  Graveside Services will be held Wednesday at 11 A.M. at Riverside Cemetery, Shelton.  There will be no calling hours.  The James T. Toohey & Son Funeral Home, 92 Howe Ave., Shelton has been entrusted with arrangements.
