Obituary
Ruth O. Russell, age 94 of Seymour, passed away November 17, 2020. Ruth was born in Canton, CT, May 31, 1926, daughter of the late Carl A. and Esther Case Olson. She grew up working with her siblings on her parents Agricultural Farm and later worked in manufacturing as an assembler for the Homer D. Bronson Company for many years until her retirement. She loved her game shows, working on puzzles, sitting in the sun in her favorite chair watching the hummingbirds, and had a sweet tooth for chocolates. She is survived by her children, Karen and spouse Ray Ronan, Leonard Jr., and spouse Linda Russell, Carl and spouse Betty Russell, and Linda Eshoo and her late husband Sam Eshoo, her many loving grandchildren and great-grandchildren who were her pride and joy, her siblings, Marjorie “Donna” Bossardt, Martha J. Hanson, David R. Olson, and Howard “Gilly” Olson, all of Canton, CT, and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sisters, Norma Zils and Louise Miner, and her brothers, Skipper and John Olson. All services and interment will be private.
