Shari A. Deida

Shari A. Deida, age 62 of Waterbury, previously of Shelton, passed away December 4, 2022 at St. Mary’s Hospital, Waterbury.  Shari was born in Derby, September 20, 1960, daughter of the late Louis and Gladys Ferguson Massa.  Shari currently worked in the photo department at Walmart of Shelton.  Shari loved being on Facebook playing games and drinking her coffee.  Most of all, Shari was a devoted mother, grandmother, and sister.  She will be missed by her daughter Sara Massa-Manganaro and her husband Joseph, her grandson Thomas Manganaro, her brother Thomas Massa, her sister Alice Massa, her nephew William Merwin, Jr., and her niece Nicholle Massa.  Besides her parents, Shari was predeceased by her brother-in-law William Merwin.  A Graveside Service will be held Thursday, December 22nd at 1:45PM directly at Mt. St. Peter's Cemetery, Derby.  There will be no calling hours.  The James T. Toohey & Son Funeral Home, 92 Howe Ave., Shelton has been entrusted with arrangements.
