Thach T. Nguyen

Thach T. Nguyen, age 60 of Shelton, passed away February 4, 2025 at Yale New Haven Hospital.  He was born in Quang Nam, Vietnam, February 5, 1964, son of the late Tham and Nguyen Nguyen.  He worked as a machine operator for Beta Shim for many years.  He was a member of the Vietnamese Catholic Community of Bridgeport at St. Augustine Church of Bridgeport.  He enjoyed music and playing his guitar, gardening, aquariums, and being with his family.  He is survived by his beloved wife Kim Ha Nguyen, his sons An, Danny, and Kenny Nguyen, his brothers Thai and Nghia Nguyen, his sisters Hue, Chau, and Thanh Nguyen, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.  Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his brother Linh Nguyen.  Calling hours will be held Friday February 7, 2025 from 4PM to 8PM at the James T. Toohey & Son Funeral Home, 92 Howe Ave., Shelton.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday, February 8, 2025 at 10AM directly at St. Augustine Cathedral Church, 359 Washington Ave., Bridgeport.  Interment will follow at Riverside Cemetery, Shelton.
