Thomas F. DeMarco

Thomas F DeMarco, 81 of Derby, formerly of Shelton, CT husband of Mary Jacqueline (Clifford) DeMarco passed away peacefully with his family by his side on Monday, September 25, 2023. He was born in Derby, CT on January 9, 1942, son of the late Albert and Helen (Dunne) DeMarco.  Tom was the owner of the former Shelton Laundry for many years until his retirement.  Besides his wife Jackie he is also survived by his 4 children.  Tom (Anna) DeMarco, Todd (Nancy) DeMarco, Scott (Tara)DeMarco and Kimberly DeMarco.  He was the loving grandfather of Tommy, Russell, Julianna, Todd, John, Frank, Sara, Rebecca, Michael, Taylor, Scotty, Sean and Mikey.  Tom was predeceased by his brother Albert DeMarco and his sister Marlene Sama.

Friends may visit the family, Sunday from 3-7pm at James T. Toohey & Son Funeral Home, 92 Howe Avenue, Shelton.  The funeral procession will leave the funeral home Monday morning at 10am for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30am at St. Joseph’s Church, 50 Fairmont Place, Shelton.  Interment will follow in Mount Saint Peter's Cemetery in Derby.
