Vivian J. Tabone

Vivian Jane Walgate Tabone, of Shelton, passed away peacefully on December 10, 2023.  She was predeceased by her husband, John P. Tabone.  She is survived by her son, Joseph Tabone and daughter-in-law, Kathleen, three beautiful granddaughters Catherine (Carl), Samantha (Michael), and Candice (Zak), an expecting great grandbaby, her extended family Jean, Don, Kathy, and Lorraine, and her fur great grandbabies.  She was a long time employee of W. E. Bassett and Stop & Shop and always enjoyed going out to breakfast with her best gal pals, Nancy and Annie.  Our family would like to thank the wonderful staff at Bishop Wicke and Bridgeport Hospital for their care.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday at 10 AM at St. Joseph Church, Shelton.  Interment will follow at Riverside Cemetery, Shelton.  In lieu of flowers, the Tabone family is asking that you make a donation in Meme’s honor to the Alzheimer’s Association of Connecticut, 200 Executive Blvd., Suite 4B, Southington, CT 06489.  The James T. Toohey & Son Funeral Home, 92 Howe Ave., Shelton has been entrusted with arrangements.
